We want your journey to be as smooth and straightforward as possible. Here’s everything you need to know before you travel.
How the journey works
- Our coach does not travel on the StenaLine ferry. Instead, a coach will take you to the ferry terminal at Cairnryan or Belfast in good time before departure.
- You’ll board the ferry as a foot passenger, using your coach ticket.
- When you arrive, another coach will be waiting to collect you and take you onward.
Luggage
Please be aware that you’ll need to take your own luggage between the coach and the ferry terminal, so we recommend packing with this in mind.
Travelling with children and young people
- Children aged 3 and under can travel free of charge on the coach and ferry.
- Any child under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Passengers aged 16 or 17 may only travel unaccompanied on the Scotland–Belfast service if they have written permission from a parent or guardian.
If you have any questions or would like extra guidance before you travel, our Customer Service team is always happy to help. You can also find useful information on the StenaLine website.
